Lunch in a traditional Berber house located in a small village called Sidi Fares at an altitude of 1800 meters
The excursion will begin at 09:00 from Marrakech and will head for Ourika, a splendid valley with fortified houses, inhabited by a Berber population that has preserved its customs and traditions intact in time. Your first stop will be an extraordinarily beautiful panoramic view of the green fields of vegetables and cereals, fodder and of course, olives, typical product of the valley.
Continue to visit a real Berber house to see how the Berbers live today, where you will be offered a mint tea break. Then continue on your way and go to the Argan Oil Cooperative where women crack the argan nuts and squeeze them between two special stones, a technique they have been using for centuries. Then, drive off-road through a mountain road where a small hike will be recommended for 30 minutes for a chance to admire the beauty of the Atlas nature with its different colors and many villages where the houses in color clay remain after several centuries.
Then, head to a small village called Sidi Fares located at an altitude of 1800 meters for lunch in a traditional Berber house overlooking the Atlas Mountain Toubkal with a height of 4167 meters, also known as the highest peak in North Africa. Then enjoy a delicious taste of true Berber gastronomy with a menu of tagine, couscous and berber fruit. Then head towards Marrakech through the valley of Asni and the village of Tahnnaout.
